Join us in building a command center that integrates CCTV, alarms, and access control from various vendors into a single interface, as a VMS and Security Systems Integration Engineer.
About the role
- Integrate Video Management Systems into our platform via SDK, REST API, or ONVIF profiles.
- Connect alarm and access control systems, including through dry contacts when digital protocols are closed.
- Design incident handling workflows: from detection, escalation, assignment, to auditable evidence of handling.
- Assess integration feasibility before proposals by reading vendor documentation, testing interfaces, and clearly stating impossibilities.
- Isolate failures to ensure one down system does not affect others.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electronic security system or building system integration.
- Direct experience with at least one VMS such as Milestone XProtect, Genetec, Avigilon, Bosch BVMS, Hanwha, Verkada, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of ONVIF, RTSP, and understanding of the differences in device profiles claiming to be ONVIF compliant.
- Sufficient programming skills to write custom adapters in Python, C#, TypeScript, or Go.
- Experience working with third-party vendors, including when documentation is incomplete.
Nice to have
- Experience with access control systems: Gallagher, Lenel, Honeywell, or similar.
- Experience in security operations centers, both building and operating them.
- Networking knowledge: VLAN, multicast, and bandwidth calculations for video streams.
- Experience with cross-country projects, particularly in Singapore.
