Measure what matters, without drowning in dashboards
One number reviewed weekly beats ten dashboards never opened. Your funnel, where the numbers live, and the 15-minute review habit.
Small businesses fail at analytics in two ways: measuring nothing, or measuring everything and acting on none of it. The cure for both is the same: one primary number, a simple funnel behind it, and a short weekly habit of looking.
Pick the north-star
For most chat-first businesses the right primary number is new conversations per week (leads). Revenue lags too far behind to steer by, and views or likes flatter you without paying you. If leads per week grows and your closing stays steady, revenue follows mechanically.
Know your funnel
1.000 lihat profil GBP / situs
60 chat masuk (6% mulai percakapan)
25 minta penawaran (42% terkualifikasi)
8 jadi order (32% closing)

- Google Business Profile performance: calls, direction requests, website clicks.
- WhatsApp labels: count chats per stage weekly; that is your pipeline report.
- If you have a website: Google Analytics, with the WhatsApp button click as the one event that matters.
- A dated note of the four funnel numbers each week; trends matter more than any single week.
The 15-minute weekly review
Every Monday: write the four funnel numbers, name the leakiest stage, and pick exactly one experiment for the week (a faster greeting, better photos, a new follow-up message). One change at a time, so when a number moves you know why. That loop, run for a quarter, outperforms any dashboard subscription.
What you take away
- One north-star: new conversations (leads) per week
- Track the four funnel numbers; fix the leakiest stage first
- GBP performance, WhatsApp labels, and one analytics event cover most needs
- A 15-minute weekly review with one experiment beats passive dashboards
